Today we produce and sell woven, knitted and knitted scarves, complemented by a wide range of squares and other textile accessories such as beanies, gloves, capes and ponchos, as well as hats and umbrellas.
A pattern with history.
Trends come and go – genuine classics are always up to date. The best example of this is our special FRAAS plaid pattern, a distinctive woven check with black and white stripes and a single colored accent line running through. Since early in the 20th century, this pattern has turned up in the most diverse V. FRAAS textiles, starting with pure wool scarves, then on the finest cashmere, and since 1985, also on our Cashmink®. Born in Upper Franconia, a region with one of richest textile traditions in Europe, our local house check is now at home throughout the world.
Acros all styles.
The secret to success is versatility. Alternating base colors (unpretentious gray, tender rosé, or the typical camel beige) with different pattern sizes (from miniscule to gigantic) and unique fabrications (elegant lightweight or a fleecy boucle), our FRAAS Plaid cuts a fine figure in all of its various forms. It adds the perfect touch to every outfit, whether casual or elegant, with a trench coat or a leather jacket.
Cashmink® is absolutely skin-friendly, hypoallergenic and water-repellent. The fineness of the material makes it pleasant to wear all round, even on sensitive skin. Thanks to innovative manufacturing techniques, it is possible to produce Cashmink® products in a wide variety of designs and colours. The fine, silky, shiny material brings out the brilliance of every colour.
In nature, caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies - we turn empty PET bottles (post-consumer) into colourful fabric. Our Cashmink® made from recycled polyester saves up to 53% energy compared to conventional production and can itself be reused - 100%. Our Cashmink® made from recycled polyester is based on the standards of the original Cashmink®: incomparable, anti-allergic softness, brilliantly coloured designs (especially in jacquards), optimum thermal insulation with maximum climate comfort and Oeko-Tex® Standard 100.
