Basis of processing

What data does this information refer to?

Article 4(1) of the GDPR explains what personal data is. It is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, among other things, name, address, IP address of your terminal device or your internet connection, as well as your e-mail address and, if applicable, bank or credit card information.
 

Furthermore, we process information that is technically necessary for the correct display of our website, such as browser type and browser settings.

 

How do we process your data?

Technically necessary data is exchanged in the background between your end device (browser) and our web server. This data is stored on our web server and is used for the correct display of the website in your browser and, if necessary, also for troubleshooting. The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in the correct presentation and function of our web presence in accordance with Art. 6 (1) letter f DSGVO.

The legal basis for processing your data in a customer account or when placing an order is Art. 6 para. 1 letter b DSGVO for the fulfilment of a contract already concluded with us or to be concluded in the future. Data for subscribing to our newsletter is processed on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter a DSGVO. This data will be deleted immediately after deletion of the customer account or after unsubscribing from the newsletter, unless there is a legal obligation to retain the data. If you have subscribed to our newsletter mailing list, the data you have entered will be passed on to the service provider we have commissioned to send the newsletter - Newsletter2Go, with whom we have concluded an order processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO. For the processing of orders, the data entered by you will be passed on to payment service providers (depending on the selected payment method) and shipping service providers, exclusively to the extent necessary.   
 

In some cases, so-called cookies, i.e. small text files, which may also contain personal data, are stored on your terminal device. As a rule, cookies are deleted after your visit to our website. In some cases (e.g. if you leave a filled shopping cart) the cookies are stored permanently.
